Source: Dune: Spice Wars, developer: Shiro Games

Strategy game Dune Spice Wars set in the universe created by Frank Herbert, will come out of early access tomorrow . The game throws us on the desert planet Arrakis, where we face a battle for the precious spice Melange. In this guide you will find out if the game offers a story mode. In addition, you will find information about the Conquest capani.

Story mode in Dune Spice Wars?

Dune Spice Wars will not offer any story mode upon release. So if you were expecting to play a series of connected missions, you won't get anything like that at the moment. In 2022, one of the developers, in a thread on the Steam forum admitted that there is a chance for such a mode to appear.

"Lot's of stuff to come over the course of Early Access, it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that we might see something like this down the line..."

However, time has shown that this plan was not realized. So now it remains to hope that in the future there will be DLC implementing this gameplay mode.

The campaign in Dune Spice Wars

Dune Spice Wars offers a Conquest mode. This is a campaign in which you take on the role of one of the available factions. You then find yourself on a map divided into a series of areas, of which you must gradually take control. However, this will not be easy, as other houses will not give up without a fight. In addition, unique scenarios and events await you, which will add variety to the gameplay.

According to the devs completing this mode should take roughly 10 hours. Thus, it is not a long experience.
